In July 1933 Bishop Cook took his family to Europe on vacation. Harriett took photographs of the trip and assembled
a photo album. John Cook received this album after her death and kept it. Before his death, he provided it to Clifton Cook to share with
future generations. The following is a copy of this album with the notes as provided by Harriett.
Several stories were shared from the children to the next generation. One was when the family was in western Europe the family stayed at a hotel.
The three boys were very active raising havoc all over the hotel. Since this was a time close to WWII, there were German solders around and
the boys figured out that they could fill balloons with water and drop them from the windows on the helmets of the solders below. Philip Cook
Jr. told this story to his sons years later and John confirmed it after Phil's death when he provided the album to Clifton. John mentioned
that he and Dorothy visited the same hotel years later and the owner remembered the three Cook boys and thought they were dreadful.
He didn't mention if he said he was one of the three boys.
